Rodmanned Nikpour Roddy

Additional Info

Rodmanned (Roddy) Nikpour, born and raised in Arizona, first discovered his passion for radio in 2011 at Arizona State University’s student-run station, KASC the Blaze 1330 AM, where he hosted an ambient music show called the Post Office. He also held three leadership positions before graduating in 2015. He is returning to Arizona State to earn his master’s from the Cronkite School, aspiring to launch a full-time career as a radio producer.

At Radio Phoenix, Roddy uses his production knowledge to help other volunteers and produce two nationally-syndicated shows. He is enticed by Radio Phoenix’s commitment to supporting local artists and hopes to help augment the music scene. When he is not at the station, Roddy is often reading Latin texts, riding his bicycle, or composing music of his own.
